[Projects 2.0] :Adding progress to tasks / link to timesheets

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to add progress to a task besides changing the task value... I would like to see a task notes section that links to the time sheet entry (billable / not billable) currently I am tracking my task work via the timesheets are but when I go back and review the task there is no progress history.

This isn't a huge issue for me as an employee but as an employer it would be great to be able to track a task as it progresses with a real time view of how much time has been spent on the item (this would allow me to ensure that projects are staying within budget)
