[Projects 2.0] :Upload Latest Version system is flawed

A HUGE issue with "Upload Latest Version" feature:

1) The system MUST support new versions that are different file names. You cannot demand that a new version of a file be the same file name as the previous because many of us use the following naming convention to track versions on our internal server:

file_name_01.pdf
file_name_02.pdf
file_name_03.pdf

...or similar.

I've seen this process forced on users in many other systems as well, so I'm not sure if it's a version control legacy thing, but it just will not fly in the creative world.

I suppose the way to think about it is: 1) your way, where the same file is updated but the file name does not change, or 2) my way, where the same file is updated (Save As...) and the file name is altered to reflect the update. Both are the same thing, you are just approaching the "latest version" in an entirely too rigid manner.
