I understand that the approval process, does not allow the "approver" to edit the record which is locked. Only once the record has been approved, can it be edited.
I have a requirement where an "approver" will look at a record and either "approve" or "reject. If it is approved, on the record they are approving they have 5 x questions to fill in, which are basically quality check questions, which get stored on the record.
If the approver "rejects" the record, I know there is a basic comments box, but I want them to fill in the 5 x questions mentioned above and corresponding comments on the "record" why it was failed. The record will then go back to the "agent" who submitted it for "approval" and will go through the whole cycle again".
If the record gets "rejected" again, the approver will need to go through the process of answering those 5 x questions, however on this example as this has been rejected 2 times, there should be 1 x 5 set of questions answered in the first rejection, then there should be a second set of 5 x questions on the second rejection. If it gets rejected 10 times, there should be 10 x 5 questions filled in (subform is being used for this)
My question is this, irrespective of the "approver" approving or rejecting the form, how can I "force them" to fill in these 5 x questions?
I can do it as a process, but users sometimes forget, if I make them do it through Zoho, it will be a lot easier.
Hope the above makes sense.
If anyone has any ideas, I would be most grateful.
Thank you
