Can't seem to complete basic task management

Hello, 

I have spent many hours trying to figure out how to maintain continuity of my internal processes since joining Zoho CRM. Currently I use Gmail (Google Apps) for our business. I access my email regularly through the day from multiple devices (phone, tablet and laptop) depending on whether I am in the office or out on the road. For this reason specifically I require my email to be set up as IMAP so any emails I receive that I either reply to or move to my personalised folders needs to be synced across all devices. 

Issue 1: I can't effectively manage my emails across multiple devices 
I have tried to both set up Zoho Mail via POP however given there is no sync to the server, if I complete an action via my laptop in Zoho mail, it is not reflected on my other devices and then my inbox gets cluttered and not efficient to use. I have also set up SalesInbox which is via IMAP however based on searching online and also calls to support, whilst this is IMAP, there seems to be limitations to sync and no support via separate apps to allow me to access salesinbox from my mobile device. Any changes made in salesinbox need to also be updated on the server so I don't then log into gmail and have hundreds of emails in my inbox because the folder system has not synced)

How is it possible with all the functionality of zoho that I can't even manage my email effectively from multiple devices? 

Issue 2: Task Management - again as I don't have an app for task management available I am having to use a third party app to effectively manage tasks. This stems from the email issue, if I could manage my email from within Zoho I could then effectively manage using activities but given above I have to remain using gmail and then have no effective tool for managing tasks with gmail that works back with zoho crm. (the current option of linking with zoho crm and google apps and then searching via email address is also not effective as I need to be able to manage tasks in one place, not one for contacts and another place for general tasks). 

Please advise if I am missing something and there is already a solution to fix above.
