Clients: Replying without Logging In

Hello,
I was pretty excited about all the email integration Zoho Projects has - so that clients don't have to log in and can just reply to various emails to participate. However, I just noticed that they all need to log in, create accounts, and verify their email address before they can actually do this, which is a big bummer to me. Many of our clients are not tech savvy and we really want to be able to simply add their email address and add them as clients, and then send notifications to them (such as from a Forum) and have them simply reply without having to jump through other technical hoops.

There is one other area where this has affected us:
I figured out that posting an image to documents from an attachment in the Mac Mail client doesn't work. While I would have liked to just send it in from my Gmail account instead - emails from that account aren't accepted, again, until it is added, verified etc... Is there any way around this?

Could I set up some generic accounts, and then change the email address associated with that account so that I could change it to the desired client email and they wouldn't have to log in or verify? I understand why the system is set up as it is - most likely to prevent sp@m and non-group members from getting into the project, but I'm wondering if there's a way to work around this...
