Company name/logo

I posted about this before -- not being able to disable the display of the company name next to the uploaded company logo, and the suggested solution was to "put ' ' in the organization profile for the company name." That does indeed remove it, but then all the page titles have an unsightly   in the browser title bar. Is there any way this could be fixed the right way?
