Create single task for multiple resource assignments

Create single task for multiple resource assignments

I am looking to create a task (e.g. Pre-release Testing) that would span a week, for 5 people.

How would I create the task, showing the resources required so that I can see the gap and assign appropriately?

Would I need to create a task w/ 5 sub-tasks?  Then each sub-task could be assigned a "generic-user" and I could gauge my gaps overall by how over-subscribed by "generic-user" is?
