Creator "Reports" --- murky, hard to use, missing features... Ughh!
Woof! The so-called Creator "Reports" are the #1 worse designed module of Creator... period. How to use it is vague, confusing and murky at best. The inability to Sum a column at the bottom of a report (i.e. Grand Total) is missing, but there *is* some kind of strange "sum every entry" function that is visually confusing. And the so-called "preview" mode presents a narrow short view window, though the report is likely to contain several columns that need more view width in the preview.
Strange module. Needs complete redesign. Ugghhhh.
What a shame. Reports are the natural companion to data. How unusual for Zoho to completely miss something so basic and obvious. I'm a huge Zoho fan, but the Creator Reports function... oh boy.
Recommendation: put someone on the design team that has real-world experience with creating reports for business.
[LATER EDIT: I stand corrected about the Grand Total function. It is there, but wasn't clear to me somehow. There remain other issues w/ summing, though.]
