Concerning the day's duration, it would be better to add a day's duration field. When adding the day's start and end dates, it's basically taking into consideration our one hour lunch break for example which might not give accurate results when predicting the task's end date.
For example, our working day consists of 8 hours + 1 hour lunch break. So when I add our day's start hour as 9 and end as 6 it's calculating a working day as 9 hours. In this case if I set a task to need 12 hours, it will divide them into 9 in Day 1 and 3 in Day 2, when it should actually be 8 in Day 1 and 4 in Day 2.
