Many times I will be completing a task and will use the "clone" feature to carry over the notes/details of that task to a new one. This happens as I comple a follow up call that I had scheduled via the tasks function and then schedule another call after that. Since the task will usually be the same subject and need the same notes, I press the clone button when viewing the recently "completed task" to create the new task.
The problem is that the status of "completed" carries over to the new task as well as the notes and other details. This is problematic because not only do I have to remember to change the date of the new task (which is easy to fix if I forget since it will show up on today's or overdue task list) but I must also remember to change the status as well. Not only does this create a unnatural work flow, but if I do forget to update that status, it will be very difficult to find out as I typically only view tasks that are either due today or overdue. If the new task inherits the "completed" status and I forget to change this, I'm likely to never see it again.
Any suggestions?
