Duplicate application not happening

I see other postings on this issue, but they are all some time ago. I am trying to duplicate an app but it does nothing. It's a reasonably large and complex app, but I don't see why that should make any difference.

I have tried exporting it, then creating a new app by importing the exported DS file, but that gives another error.

Is anyone else having trouble duplicating an app please?
