It's a huge problem that CRM now includes the salutation in the displayed name of emails, when using a email template.
Correct would was and will be: simply only "john.doe@email.com"
NOW (when you send a lead or contact a mail template):
"Dear John Doe" <john.doe@email.com>
This problem classifies all CRM mails as "canned emails" out of a system.
This has a negative impact on our communication.
How can this be switched off?
