Explore the Redesigned Quotes Module in Zoho Billing

Dear users,

We’re excited to introduce a refreshed look for the Quotes details page in Zoho Billing! This update brings you a more efficient user interface experience without changing your existing workflow. We've enhanced layouts with organized tabs, and made improvements for approvals and activity logs tracking. These improvements will be rolled out soon and we'll assist you in transitioning with a short guided tour within our applications.

This update is only applicable for Zoho Books, Zoho Billing, and Zoho Commerce in the Zoho Finance Suite for all DCs, editions, and plans including Zoho One organizations.

Experience a Redesigned Quotes Details Page

Quote details now displays a detailed overview of transaction details, customer details, and item details in its details view. This organized layout makes it easy to find and review all the information you need.

By default, the quotes' details view will be shown to offer a comprehensive overview. You can instantly switch to the PDF view using the Show PDF View toggle whenever required.

Introducing Tab View for Associated Records

Quote details, its associated transactions such as invoices, subscriptions and records like projects, activity logs, related lists will now be displayed in specific tabs. This way, you can quickly navigate between associated records from one place.

Track Activity Logs and Comments in Separate Tabs

Activity Logs now has a dedicated tab in the quotes details page. Previously, both activity logs and comments were displayed together in the Comments & History section. With this update, only your users' comments will be displayed in the Comments section, offering a more organized and seamless experience.

We’ve also made an enhancement to how you view approvals to keep your experience clear and focused.

View Status-Specific Approval Information

Submitted by is now displayed only when the approval is pending. Once approved, it is replaced with Approved by, ensuring you always see only the relevant information. You can click View Approval Details to see complete approval history.
