Folder Upload In Zoho Docs


Zoho Docs has further enhanced its uploading functionality with the Folder Upload option (Chrome 7+) and the Multiple File upload option that is now supported in Chrome 7+, FireFox 4+ and Safari 5+ browsers.

Uploading Folders



With the Folder Upload option you don't have to go through the mundane process of selecting individual files within folders to upload, as you will be able to upload whole folders directly from your desktop into Zoho Docs. If the folder has sub-folders, then the folders will be created with the same hierarchical folder structure. This new enhancement will work in browsers that support  Chrome 7+.



To upload folders in Zoho Docs:
  1.  Click on 'Upload"  button from the top left side panel and select "Folder Upload" option from drop down menu
  2.  A pop-up will appear with all your desktop folders.
  3.  Select a folder and click Ok . 
  4.  A Upload pop-up will appear. Click on Start Upload
  5.  You will see the folder listed under My Folders 

Uploading Folders in Workspace



You can also upload folders directly from your desktop into your workspace. Folders uploaded in workspace will automatically be shared to all the workspace members, making the collaboration effort much easier.

To upload folders in your Workspace :
  1. Click on 'Upload' button from the top left side panel and select "Folder Upload" option from drop down menu. 
  2. A pop-up will appear with all your desktop folders. 
  3. Select a folder and click Ok .
  4. A Upload pop-up will appear. 
  5. Click on the Click Here link and from the Select Workspace drop down menu select the workspace where you     want to upload the folder 
  6. Click on the Upload button for the files to get added in the workspace
