I'm new to Sheets and have been setting up a budgeting template that has many linked tabs. It's going fairly well except certain quirky things have been happening from time to time. 

1- sometimes when I scroll up or down I lose formatting from a random cell. This has mostly happened with borders around cells. For example, I put an extra bold border around the Total row, and then when I scroll back up part of the border in one or a few cells goes back to the thinner border. No matter how many times I redo the border, this keeps happening.

2- I have had a couple of occasions where a formula I enter has completely changed after I moved away from the cell.

3- I have also had issues where the formulas are not calculating automatically. In Excel, there is a setting where you can choose if want formulas to calculate manually or automatically, but I don't see that here so I assume they should all work automatically. This happened with formulas I pasted by dragging the handlebar. I had to go into each cell and press enter to get the formula to start working. This is a problem if it happens to my client. Especially since I have locked the cells with formulas in them. Is there a setting somewhere I need to look at?
