I have a formula field field called "Total" withe following expression

(Sub_Total  +  CC_Debit_Fee)

Both of the above fields are currency fields, the Sub_Total is updated by fields in subform. But for some reason the formula field doesn't do anything when I enter information in the two fields. It just stays blank. What is wrong with the formula field?
