It's quite difficult to monitor multiple posts when every poster does not elect to send notice emails.
The Status Message: new comment added does not quite give enough information, since I have to scroll to the bottom of each post to see whether it was I that made the last post.
That or, I need to remeber the number of comments in each post.
Would it not be more intuitive to show a Status Message like.
"new comment added by Sue." or "Last comment added by Sue"
