Groups - for status filtering
It would be cool if I could set up GROUPS of users - and then filter tasks/milestones, etc. by groups.
For example, we have a small group of web developers, tech writers, instructional designers, illustrators, etc...
If I could set up groups - as a manager, I could more easily track tasks/milestones across my own group, perhaps assign tasks/milestones to a group - and then let individuals self-assign from there, etc...
The groups function could also be involved with what shows up on the dashboard - a checklist of groups (or even individuals within) you'd like to see activities from on the dashboard - or not - according to what exactly you'd like to see.
When you release sub-tasks and sub-task lists, this would also lend itself to various groups - where certain groups manage sub-sections of tasks and milestones.
