Has anyone had any experience working with Creator and a domain registry API?

Has anyone had any experience working with Creator and a domain registry API?

I have a custom module in our CRM for Domain management, I would now like to be able to dynamically keep these domain records expiration date accurate for each domain to be automatically checked for the expiration date and then update the records with the most current expiration date.
