Help With the Right Path in Zoho
Problem: My wife runs a charity, and I'm thinking about using Zoho to capture requests for her product. The product is free, but there is a shipping fee. The charity only helps people that meet certain requirements (income level, number of children, etc.) and the user must submit attached documents proving they meet these requirements. These are then reviewed by staff and, if approved, they are invoiced for shipping and then sent to another group for fulfillment.
My Struggle: My issue is that Zoho seems to have two primary modules that I could shoe-horn into that process above: an Order or a Sales Lead. Which is best?
The Process should be (roughly):1. Customer applies on website via form. (name, address, attaches proof, email, etc.)
2. Application is sent for review ("In Review" status)
3. Application is approved, invoice sent ("Approved Awaiting Payment")
4. Invoice for shipping paid via Paypal ("Invoice Paid" hopefully we can forward them to a unique zoho form for this, to link their payment with their application/order)
5. Application sent to distributor for fulfillment ("Awaiting Fulfillment," just re-assign with new status, or create new linked task?)
6. Fulfillment staff confirms shipment, attaches tracking number, email sent to applicant with status ("Shipped")
I'm hoping a Zoho expert could let me know if that process could be supported. Obviously we're looking for more granular steps (like additional notification emails, SLA's, etc.), but I can't tell from playing with the demo whether Zoho is going to be a good fit or not.
Would love any thoughts!
