I am creating reports for my company. These reports include bar charts and histograms displaying insights such as revenue over time, profit over time, etcetera. I am looking for a way for the user to select whether the chart must display -- for example -- the monthly profit over the last year, or the weekly profit over the last 12 weeks. In the first case, each bar in the chart will represent the data over one month, whereas the bars in the second case will represent data over one week.

In other words, I want the user to be able to change between the charts below using a user filter, instead of making two separate charts as I have.

Is this possible? Any advice would be much appreciated.
