How to sync overtime from zoho people to zoho payroll

How to sync overtime from zoho people to zoho payroll

Hi everyone,

I’m currently setting up Zoho People with Zoho Payroll. While configuring the sync, I noticed I can only fetch Employee Profiles, LOP (Loss of Pay), and enable the Employee Portal.

I can’t seem to find a way to automatically pull Overtime (OT) hours from People into Payroll. Right now, I calculate OT manually or via reports in People, then export it and import it into Payroll through Excel to process salaries.

I have a few questions:

  1. Was the Overtime sync feature available in older versions and then removed?

  2. Is there a way to map “Overtime” as a component so it syncs automatically along with Attendance/LOP?

  3. If direct sync isn’t possible, is there a workaround using APIs or Deluge scripts to avoid manually importing Excel sheets?
