A credit note works better than write off for my purposes, but...

When I look at my sales report by item, then click on the item I have lost record that I sent a sample to the customer.

So lets say I shipped 99pcs as an invoiced sale and 1pc as a credited sale, I have record that 100pcs have been removed from inventory, but only have recorded sales of 99... so close.

Any other way of tracking where the goods went from a credited invoice?
