Important Change Suggestions for Consumer Signing Transactions

We have sought UK legal advice on esignatures. Whilst they are valid, the key we are told is to demonstrate that terms and conditions have been brought to a customer's attention. This is very important in B2C transactions in UK law.

The big problem with Zoho Sign is that unlike Adobe Sign, it takes the customer straight to the signature box, so they may never see the other pages unless they scroll backwards. With Adobe, we know the customer has scrolled past those pages, so they cant say they werent aware of them.

Zoho Sign should not by default scroll to the signature box. It could contain, like Adobe Sign, a button which navigates to it, but it should start at Page 1 so there can be no confusion that the starting page is not the only page.

We are legally advised your product would create an unnecessary risk of a customer arguing that terms were not properly brought to their attention.
