Hi Team
My company sends out building inspection reports to clients. These reports are only released on payment of the invoice. Often the report is uploaded to the system before the invoice has been paid. In this case we desperately need to have an action triggered when payment is made in zoho invoice, so that our creator app knows to release the report. Ideally this should be instantaneous. At this stage the only way I can think of is to have a scheduled event within creator check the payment status of respective invoices (which is easy enough to do). However, this is limited to once a day (constraint of the schedule). In the worst case scenario I could create 48 schedules to check at half hour intervals but this seems immensely laborious, and is still not instantaneous. Is there any other way that a payment status change in Invoice could be used as a trigger to notify creator? I am thinking something like sending a formatted email to an email client or web service which would run a script to reformat and forward the email to creator in such a way so as to update the creator record (however, I don't see any way to specify an email address other than the clients or the administrators on the Thank You for Payment email).
I would imagine a number of users out there have come up against this issue. Has anyone found a solution?
Thanks a million
Regards
Jason
