Mobile application database "n00b' needing direction re: app in progress.
Good Afternoon,
I am really new to building database's for mobile applications.
I am experience in building the front-end app though. I am needing help with putting together a database. I do prefer to do the work myself so I can learn.
Okay, the problem;
I am building an app in app-press (client's choice) & I have done all the psd/ai files and all the boring hard work to put the app into a functional state, now I need to assemble the database. It's an app for farmers/miners re: tyre psi etc...
Screen 1: (pressure calculator 1)
**three boxes, the customer (or end user) must be able to type into here & the search field below will take what has been typed into all three boxes and draw from various csv files (they are in csv format at the moment in my onedrive) Example: 540 / 65R / 34 for the different tyres produced. The end user can then click on 4 filters: radial / bias / steer / implement to filter the results based on what they purchased. Click on their selection and jump to screen two.
Screen 2: (pressure calculator 2)
**then all the technical data would be filled in, but the end user cannot modify any of it, with a save function (screen shot to another part of the app called "the shed") There will be too options "pressure by tyre load & speed variation" giving the end user the option to modify the data displayed by load or speed (also in csv files)
That's it. I just need to workout how to build the database to store all that information for my client/work and then I can import into the app. Easy, except for the fact I have only really basic knowledge of what to do.
Thank You & I hope you all can help/point me in the right direction.
