Newbie Warning:

Hey Brainiacs, Warlocks and Wizards–
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this ZoHo creator product–what a fantastic tool–even though I’ve only been working with this tool for a day, I can see its potential!:-)

I am REALLY confused about something though. I want to create a payment allocation matrix. What I  want is  a single currency field which takes any $usd value–let’s say for this example: $100.00.

I then want to create the matrix for a lookup based on a  customer/client  that is predefined.

So, let’s say user ‘Bob’ is our client and  sends in a $100.00 payment–and-- whenever ‘Bob’ sends a check– whether its 100.00 or $20.00, the funds need to get allocated to let’s say 3 separate accounts -

Lets say alloc_1 = 20%, alloc_2 = 5% and alloc_3 = 75%. So in the $100.00 case, Alloc_1 gets $20.00, alloc_2 gets $5.00 and alloc_3 gets $75.00.

I could have another customer 'Frank' -- but his allocation might be 10 accounts with 10% each...

Basically, I just want to be able to lookup ‘Bob’ or 'Frank', get their  allocation splits  and apply their  checks with a 1 button click.

Here’s what i figured out what to do far in zoho:

1. Created a customer maintence form which includes customer name … and.. separate columns .. alloc_1,alloc_2,alloc_3 ... alloc_15 ...  with a % value.

2. Created a revenue allocation form which I can look up the customer name--The trouble comes when I want all the % column allocations to come  back on a lookup–how do i get all the allocation % fields to load under a customer lookup?

any advice would be great–or pointing to a url with advice would be great!:-)

Thanks,
