Ok here's my problem.  I started by creating the Home page and completed all the sections.

Then I added/created a second page and again completed all the sections and elements, but this time all the sections got carried over or copied to the Home page. 

In other words, all the sections of my Home page got replaced with the sections from the second page and when I deleted those sections, it got deleted as well on the second page.  What a complete waste of time.

I checked each and every revision but all the sections I built are now missing.  What is happening here?
