Paragraph breaks disappear (in admin msg. to team)

I just sent an "all hands" welcome note to my project team to explain the invitations they were about to receive. I sent using "send message" under the "users" tab on the dashboard.

My own copy of same arrived without ANY paragraph breaks. What is up with that? Does the system strip out all line breaks before it transmits? And if yes, does stripping apply to any other interactions between email and the Zoho space?
