Password and email

I was wondering if there was any way where you can get a fetch record (witch i dont know how to do) then find the email that they put in and have a password they have to have that is correct and it will let them move on and if it is wrong it will ask them to redo it. I dont want just one password i want every user to beable to do it. i also would likea way so that it will create a list that can be modafyed with all the passwords and emails so they are always there and if you delete the records they still stay there and be saved. is there any way i can do this.
