Users may not pick the fields to be shown as columns in the Choose Account window when creating a new Deal record

Hi there,

by talking with other users I found out that I, as an Admin, am the only one who can pick fields to be shown as columns in the Choose Account window when creating a new Deal record.

In fact, if other users click on the "Add Column" symbol on the left, the entire field list seems to be disabled, so they cannot decide which columns they wish to see.

This is a big issue especially when dealing with Account records having the same name as users should be able to visualize the Billing City and Billing Country columns in order to pick the right record.

I tried and look at the settings to find something that could fix this, but could not find anything related to the issue. Could you please help me solve the issue? Thanks!
