I need to be able to pre-load form fields in a permalink'ed form based on record ID.  How do I do this?

What I'm looking for is something like:
http://creator.zoho.com/USER/APPLICATION/form-perma/FORM_LINK?recLinkID=1234567890&viewLinkName=VIEW_LINK

I've done a lot of research in the help docs and forums and keep running into dead ends.
