Preventing Users from maintaining my projects
Is it possible to assign users tasks, but not allow them to edit the task? I want to (as the project administrator) define the projects and have my users log time using the timesheet function . But the users have the ability to modify and even delete the tasks, which will in turn delete all of the timesheet entries. That is totally unacceptable, only I should be able to delete tasks.
In other words, I want to assign users to a task, but not make them the owner of the task. I can't seem to find a way to do this. Assigning myself as the owner of the tasks is no good, as the users can then not enter time against the tasks.
If I can't do this then unfortunately this product is not usable for me.
