I am having a LOT of problems trying to create an HTML Page.

 

If I use Script Builder, it works fine to embed a Form, but if I try to use "Insert HTML" the whole screen goes grey and freezes as soon as I drag the "Insert HTML" icon onto the script area.  In other words, I have no option but to use Free Flow Scripting.

 

In Free Flow Scripting, I often make some changes or additions to the code, click 'Save Script', and it seems to save OK.  (First I get an annoying Internet Explorer popup asking "Are you sure you want to leave this page?".  I click 'Stay on this page', the popup disappears, then I click 'Save Script' again.  This is when it seems to save OK.)  But if I then Access this application, the new script doesn't work; when I go back to Edit this application, all the new script has disappeared and obviously didn't save!

 

Finally, in many cases when trying to save HTML code that has some error in it, I get the extremely helpful message "null" from the editor/compiler.  Is this normal?  Can the compiler not recognize where there is an HTML error?  I even copy and paste the code into a proper HTML editor to make sure I have all the matching open and close tags, but still the Deluge editor tells me: "null".

 

I have wasted four days trying to create my first Page in Zoho Creator.  I have copied and analyzed the code in Zoho's Employee Manager app.  But I am being frustrated by all these problems with Script Builder, "saving" that doesn't save, and the unhelpful editor.  I have tried switching from Internet Explorer to Chrome, but nothing improves.  Does anybody out there in zoholand have any ideas what is going on?
