I cannot find the thread but there was a comment from someone at Zoho many months ago that project Views would be seeing a big upgrade at some point with new functionality. I am curious if that is something we will see any time soon?

I am attaching a screenshot from another software product we also use that allows us to easily create any type of view we want including the fields we want to group by and/or sort by. This seemingly little thing is so big that we still use this other product to manage some of our task lists even though it is less powerful than Zoho Projects in every other respect. It allows us to instantly see project and task list information the way we need.

I would love to see this type of functionality in Zoho Projects (both in project views and a users individual task views). I am thinking specifically of being able to implement such views for the "Plain" view. Of course then it might not be so plain any more :-D.
