Quick Item Search & Auto-suggestion for Invoices

Hi Team,

I am facing an issue while creating invoices in Zoho Books. Currently, I have to type the full item name in the correct sequence and spelling for it to appear.

For example, my item name is:
"Distemper Acri Silk Special White 10kg"

If I type something like "dist acri 10", Zoho Books does not show the product.

In other accounting/ERP software, the search is more flexible — even partial or unordered keywords (like dist acri 10) can pull up the right product name.

This feature is very important for businesses handling many SKUs, as remembering the exact sequence is difficult for staff during billing.

  • Fuzzy search / keyword-based search for item selection.

  • The ability to find products even if the words are typed in a different order.

This will save a lot of time during invoice creation and reduce errors.
