I have report where all the requested items are. This report is grouped by Description and I set it to show the total quantity of each Item in the report. 

I have a Purchase Order form. In this form there is a subform where users add the items to be purchased. The users select the items from a lookup field in the subform. 

I would like the lookup field in the Purchase Order subform to show only the items that are in the requested items report and to link the total quantity. 

is this possible? can someone please give me a hint?
