Hello Zoho Sheet users,
We're delighted to share the latest news about a major update to charts in Zoho Sheet! The new version supports dynamic data ranges, granular styling options, faster loading, and other interesting enhancements that allow you to visualize data exactly the way you wanted.
Charts that stay in sync with your data
The latest version of charts allows you to add named ranges, named expressions, formulas, and tables to the data range, in addition to static ranges. With this update, you can create responsive charts that dynamically update whenever you data does.
New options to style your charts
Go beyond aesthetics and highlight what matters with the newly available customization options. The new version gives you complete control over finer details, like adding shadows, padding, borders, and more. Try our ready-to-use presets, or choose your own style. And the best part is, you can apply these customizations to every element and quickly style them by double-clicking them right inside the chart.
Race charts, now even more interactive
With the latest update, you can create engaging yet insightful race charts. Add images for better context, use the timeline slider to move through different time periods, and display the overall totals alongside individual data points.
Find your charts instantly
Introducing the navigation panel to help you locate charts inside your spreadsheet. Simply click on the chart name from the list and watch it take you directly to that chart.
Smart resize
Charts can now intelligently adapt to the space you give them. Whether you shrink or expand, all the chart elements will resize proportionally to ensure that none of them go missing.
Improved rendering capacity
To help you fully leverage these latest updates, we've improved the loading capacity for charts. You can now load any number of charts on screen quickly.
We'd love to see the charts you create with this latest update! Let us know in the comments how the latest version helped you bring clarity, impact, and style to your data stories.
