Can charge a card, but not save the same card

I need to enter some cards for clients who are on autopay.

We are using authorize.net (who are ridiculously unhelpful).
I can run Mr. A's card.  But if i try to run and save it, it won't go through.
If I try to go to his contact page and "add new card" it won't save it.
Tried with about 3 clients, all different card types, no luck.

Zoho says my error code is "E00027" which authorize.net's website says is something about australia processors, which isn't us. 
Zoho help also says its something about a required field, but I've tripled checked and my required fields all match and I can run the card, which i would think wouldn't work if i was missing a required field.

Clients can save a card - but I can't manually input and save one, but I can manually run one.
A lot of my clients are not internet savvy and will want me to put their cards in for them.
Help!
