Sending email from a filed

On a form I have a filed "votre_courriel" where people enter their own email in order to get some feedback from the application. For some unknown reason it doesn't work. I've used the "set email notification" screen and used the varaible name given by the input form still no go! the yahoo account gets the email but not de variable account Can you help
