Sharing of a subform

I am using the new style subform which does not require a separate form. One of the fields in the subform is a file upload field. On the view of the form I show some fields from the subform as a hyperlink. When the user clicks a window pops up showing all the fields from the subform including the file upload field. When clicking on the upload field they are asked for a zoho login ID as if they do not have access rights to the field. Since there is no separate form how do I change the rights for the subform.

However if the upload field is shown directly on the view the user can open the file with no problem.
