Heya, I've been using Zoho Tables for a few months now and wanted to post some features that I think will be greatly beneficial for the tool:
1. Ability to delete a record in automation or move a record in automation.
- Usecase: I move a record from one table to another using the Create Record automation, however, the old record still exists in the old table. The ability to move a record from one table to another would be useful. Typical usage is for reporting, when a item is completed in one table, it auto moves to another table labelled 'completed items', I can then report on the completed items etc better
2. Ability to prompt for reports
- Usecase: If I was able to prompt for reports, or specific data in reports (IE: Prompt filters, prompt functions etc), it would greatly assist with reporting. For example: you want a report of the last 100 days, you could have a prompt saying 'how far back would you like to report from?' and you can custom enter your days so that you can adhoc get this information. I know this can be achieved by going into a new view etc, but the QoL of just a prompt then enter would save a lot of time.
3. Ability to run on schedule only if data meets criteria
- Usecase: reminders due today. Being able to run a schedule that will send an email every day ONLY if there is any reminders due would be greatly beneficial - expanding on this, the ability to send it to a specific person (imagine a reminder assigned to a specific person) programatically would be ideal, so that if the reminders are shared among your team, you only receive emails for your appropriate reminders. The programatic email functionality is implemented, but doesn't seem to work for me - unsure if its a user error issue.
These are some of the features I think would be nice to have - will update or create additional features if I think of any.
