Transitioning from application analytics to product analytics

Transitioning from application analytics to product analytics

Dear Apptics Community,

We started by building a mobile application tool that supported native mobile applications. Later expanded and evolved into Zoho Apptics, an application analytics solution that supports both native and cross-platform applications.

Taking another leap forward, we are taking the first steps towards a comprehensive product analytics solution.

We are excited to announce JavaScript (JS) SDK support in Zoho Apptics.

Yes, you read that right! You can now gain insights into your web and mobile apps in a single dashboard, making comparative analysis effortless.

Apptics' JS SDK currently supports:
  • Events - The actions done by your users within the web app.
  • User sessions - The time spent by your user on the web app.
  • Page views - The pages users visit and interact with within the web app.
  • JS error reporting - The JS errors and warnings that occur within the web app.

JS SDK integration

You can start analyzing in-app data for your web application using Apptics' JS SDK in two simple steps:
  • Register your web application in Apptics from QuickStart.

  • Copy the script provided and add it to the bottom of your HTML file’s <body> tag before using any Apptics services.

Once you complete the integration steps and the connection is established with the Apptics servers successfully, you can start analyzing in-app data from your web application in the Apptics dashboard. You can analyze data for your web application in modules like JS errors, events, screens, sessions, funnels, user flows, and custom properties.

Info
To view the stats of your web application, apply the Web filter while accessing the dashboard of the above-mentioned modules.

Zoho Apptics has always been a pro-developer tool since its inception and aims to remain the same, providing features that are useful to product developers. However, Apptics has a broader range of features and functionalities, ensuring that its usage is not only restricted to developers but also helpful for marketers and product owners who use Apptics to optimize their apps and user experience daily.

QuoteHere's a TMI: We, at Zoho Apptics, utilize Apptics' JS SDK to understand the in-app usage and engagement of our web application (apptics.zoho.com). Apptics uses Apptics to optimize and enhance your experience :D

You can refer to our JavaScript SDK guide for step-by-step guidance. For any queries or questions, you can contact us at support@zohoapptics.com. We will be happy to assist you in this journey!
