Hi, We are trying to automate some (what we thought were) basic processes in our business to enable us to grow.
We are wanting to trigger an email from the CRM to a lead, that includes by fields populated by a custom function (that pulls from our SQL database).
We have been told by a Zoho Support person that because we have a custom function in one workflow, this won’t be able
to trigger the next workflow to send out the automatic emails.
Scenario:
- A person registers for a trial on website using the Zoho Form.
- The Zoho Form creates the lead in our CRM using the integration.
- A custom function in a CRM workflow talks to our SQL licensing
server to create a license and pushes the trial details back to CRM
Note:
these steps are all working fine.
- Once those details have been populated, trigger an email to the
person with those details.
- Then trigger follow up emails every few weeks or so.
We are not able to
get step 4 to work.
We are happy to change the process/apps/steps to be able to
achieve this outcome. I am really hoping I am missing something super obvious.
Can anyone please help?
