Indeed Disposition Sync in Zoho Recruit

We’re updating our Indeed integration to support Disposition Sync, improving how candidate application statuses are communicated. This change is scheduled to go live on 15 June, 2026.

What’s changing?

Once enabled, this allows candidate application statuses in Zoho Recruit to be reflected directly on Indeed. Candidates will be able to see where they stand in the hiring process based on updates made by recruiters.

What is Disposition Sync?

Disposition Sync updates a candidate’s application status on Indeed based on actions taken in Zoho Recruit.

For example:

1. When a candidate is moved forward in the pipeline
   
2. When a candidate is rejected
   
3. When a final status is assigned
   

These updates are reflected on Indeed so candidates can track their application progress.

How will this work in Zoho Recruit?

Disposition Sync will be optional and can be enabled while posting a job to Indeed.

Once enabled, any updates you make to a candidate’s status in Zoho Recruit will automatically reflect on Indeed. For example, if you move a candidate to an Interview stage, mark them as Rejected, or close their application with a final outcome, that status will be updated on Indeed for the candidate to view.

If you choose not to enable this option, your current processes will remain unchanged, and no status information will be shared with Indeed.

What you need to do

No immediate action is required on your end.

Once this update goes live, you can review your hiring stages and statuses to ensure they clearly reflect candidate outcomes. If you want candidates to have better visibility into their application progress, you can enable Disposition Sync while publishing jobs to Indeed.
