Dear Deluge Support,

We are facing an issue that started on 12/Feb/2026  with custom functions written using Deluge within Qntrl platform.

Currently, custom functions do not accept Arabic content; it is replaced with (???) characters.

Scenario 1: If we create new custom functions with Arabic content, the letters get replaced directly after saving the function.

Scenario 2: If we modify the current custom functions that contain Arabic content and save them, all Arabic characters are replaced.

Scenario 3: Current custom functions that contain Arabic content and have not been updated on or after 12 Feb are working as expected without issues. However, we can't modify any of them as they will get corrupted directly.

This is a highly critical issue, as it is affecting all of our users and the company's brand, security, and data integrity; the impact is irreversible. For example, users received notifications with ??? characters, logs are being generated from the custom functions with non-readable text only ???, fields are being updated with trash values just ??? characters ... etc

Please consider this as a priority.
