I have an issue where by a database that is more than 2 years old has suddenly started acting strangely.

Specifically, some "Active Users" ID's seemed to have changed.

For example, i have one user who's id is zoho_bear in our system, but in the active users section under Manage Users, it now says zoho_bear1

There are a number of users this has affected, but not all of them.

Does anyone have any ideas?
