Users Logins and Filtering Data
Hi everyone,
I am a new user of Zoho Creator. I like it very much and I would like to create a database to mange monthly reports that I receive from couple of agencies. I am currently use MS Excel and Access. My question is related to users' logins and filtering data. Below is my question(s) based on what I want to do:
- I am the main user/administrator of the database, and can see and manage all data from all different agencies.
- Let us say that I deal with 4 completely different agencies (A, B, C, and D). Each agency has its own staff/users who will use the database and add/modify data and records in the database.
- Each agency has its own list of customers, and the agency's staff/users use the database to report different services provided to the customers.
- My question and what I want to do is: when a user from agency (A) logins and uses the database, he/she will not see data and information of customers of other agencies (B), (C), and (D). In the same way, users of agency (C) cannot see data and info of other agencies and so on, because the database should keep the confidentiality of each agency's customers.
- Does Zoho Creator have this ability? and how to do this?
- Or should I create a database for each agency? and then combine all agencies' databases in my master database? If "Yes", how to do this?
