I have spent some hours (and had a LOT of help from Herb Wexler) building an HTML page which displays a compiled view of information held on 15 tables within my database.
The html page is run through an action button in one of the views.
I have shared the page out to all domain users.
Until now, myself and the developer have been running the html page and printing off the records, but we are ready to train users and hand this application over to business as usual.
Unfortunately, when a user selects the action button, a message appears that the report is loading and then nothing. I have tested this in multiple browsers and operating systems and, as mentioned, it works on all the different variations we have in the office using the admin and developer accounts but not on the user accounts. I have also changed the settings to open a new window, popup, etc but it makes no difference.
There are no permissions built into the html page and users have access to all the tables the html page refers to and the actual html page itself (which I have unhidden as I thought this might be the issue), so I am completely confused why this isn't working.
I have shared a duplicate version of the app to support with some dummy data and also logged a call (#3722998)
, but am still waiting for a response three days on and need to get this resolved as I have training sessions booked with users next week.
I would appreciate any help anyone can provide on what I should be looking at.
Thanks guys.
Angela
