Why company name mandatory for leads?

Hi there,

I am quite new to Zoho and try to figure out how everything works, what my best workflow is and how to set everything up.

One question: Why is the company name in the leads mandatory?

I run a vacation rental business and almost all my customers are private persons (Individuals). So, since I want to track them with leads and see if they rent, I have to set up the leads. But what do I put in the company field?
